Hey
So, I am kind of new on here, I've been here for a month or so, but I still feel new here, I do not know anyone, and no one knows me! I am sure there are other people on here who are newer as well, and would like to meet all you long time members:-D
So I propose we start a thread just introducing yourself and maybe saying a thing or two about yourself, where your from, what you swim, whatever information you would like to share with the group:wave:
Hopefully, this isn't a completely lame idea?
i'm mollie, i'm 26, and i started swimming when i was 8. swam age group upto high school, and then swam both (i think that's how i ended up with tendonitis in both shoulders, at the same time, as a high school jr.) swam frosh/soph years at Penn State and switched to club water polo when my major (biochem) got in the way. added masters swimming senior year ('03) and have been going strong ever since.
i'm a 200 backstroker, and i can throw together a decent 100/200 free. and i now try to avoid "loser buys dinner" bets, at all costs.
i now work for a biotech company in the DC metro area, if only to finance my swimming habit. oh, and so i can afford to feed my ever-ravenous tabby cat...
and i "moonlight" (as my boss puts it) as a swim coach too, dealing with the lovely 12&U age groups.
