Hey
So, I am kind of new on here, I've been here for a month or so, but I still feel new here, I do not know anyone, and no one knows me! I am sure there are other people on here who are newer as well, and would like to meet all you long time members:-D
So I propose we start a thread just introducing yourself and maybe saying a thing or two about yourself, where your from, what you swim, whatever information you would like to share with the group:wave:
Hopefully, this isn't a completely lame idea?

I am brand new to this. I swam from the time I was ten until the end of high school, then immediately began coaching. I actually coach two teams and I decided after an olympiad that I participated in this summer that I would get back into swimming competitively.
I am super excited!!!!:woot:
I am at the pool most days of the week anyway with the two teams and swim lessons, might as well start getting in more and training. I am a bit anxious though, I was never fast or a super star, but I was the kid that swam everything that everyone else wouldn't and never DQed (ever).
I also decided to get back into the water because I have recently lost 130+ pounds from a gastric by-pass and I need to tone up. The weight thing has always been an issue and will always be an issue, but now I am on the road to being healthy and I can actually swim better now that I could in HS.
Any advice for toning?
Thanks,
tmauney;)
