Does anybody do parkour as a dryland exercise? I'm thinking of starting and was wondering how/or if it affected swimming.

  • Kyra, I don't want to get hurt at all!!! Donna I'm with you! It's very cool looking and strength building for those with the coordination, and that wouldn't be me. Even "just plain running," I've done some face plants. Not to mention tripping on a mat on the pool deck. You don't want to see me doing Parkour. It would not be a pretty sight--and not something young children should witness. And as I get older and heal more slowly, I want to increase the amount of time I can do the sports I enjoy.
