What are your new years resolutions for swimming? Mine is to get on a regular practice schedule and stick with it.
also my goal times for the colonies zone scy champs are
50 free-21.3 going for top 10 for usms 18-24 age group
100 free-47.99 going for top 10
50 fly-23.75 going for top 10
100 ***- 1:02.99 might be good enough for top 10
100 IM-57.99
I wanted to swim 50 *** instead of IM but the 50 *** and 50 free are back to back with the 50 free being after ***. Im really trying to get a good time in the 50 free so im not doing 50 ***. Im mad about that becasue 50 *** is my second favorite event.
I also want to get in a LCM meet this summer.

Slimy -- I can so relate to the frustrating try at running :frustrated: . Although I am semi=planning to enter more (sprint) triathlons this year (I have done 4 in the past), my feet have developed the dreaded plantar fasciitis and running hurts! I have never been a runner and have always loved swimming but never competed other than in those triathlons. I have no "formal" training or coaching in swimming (self taught past river rat who has read and practiced a lot). My goal for 2007 is to be consistent with 3 swims a week, find a stroke clinic or two in my area and get some pointers on improving technique, form and a little speed (I am painfully :snore: slow), and complete the new "go the distance" fitness swim planned for this site.
I feel encouraged by getting onto this forum for motivation and support. Thanks all.
