Okay, I'm going to age myself with this but . . . I used to use the Speedo goggles with the foam around the edges (yes, way back when), and they never wrecked my eyes. Now, every pair I try either gives me awful raccoon eyes, or leaves my poor eyes feeling bruised. :( Can anyone recommend something comfortable?

I trained in them in HS too, but I also raced in them. For IM starts I pulled the edge of my swim cap over the top to keep them on; for backstroke starts they never seemed to be an issue. :dunno: I'm just happy to have a pair on the way to me. I can't stand the vanquisher racoon eyes.
