Polyester rocks! It took me a while to convert, but it is the only way to go for a workout suit. The only problem I have with them is they last TOO long! I am addicted to buying new suits--like different colors, patterns, whatever. The poly suits don't wear out, so I can't buy new ones as often! (Well, I can, but I have to hide them in a drawer so my hubby doesn't see them all at once:laugh2: .) To those complaining of "coverage" issues... Some of the recent, but older Speedo designs had a back design on the female suit that caused some creepage issues. The "suit wedgie" is quite uncomforable, but a solution was discovered by some of the age-groupers I swim with. One day I was complaining about being indecent in the pool and one of the girls took out a pair of scissors and cut the back of the suit out! It was a little scary at the time, but it solved the wedgie problem:applaud: ! It only works on the suits with the thin straps & the old fly-back design. The straps do not criss-cross in the back. They are attached about 1.5 inches apart to another band of trim. There is patterned material below this leading to the oval back opeining. WARNING--Only cut in areas sealed by trim! Start at the side where the back meets the front & cut along the trim line BELOW the strap attachment to the other side. You will end up with a piece of material that looks a bit like this } . The strap & back attachment become just the narrow piece of trim that makes up the shoulder strap. Since there is very little material on the back (think the new Flip-turns design suits), it opens up the top a little & eliminates the wedgie pull. It also makes a toned back look awesome!
