Back in the pool

Well, it's that time. End of another year spent overweight and out of shape. I'm done with this body. Time to go back into the pool. This time I will stick with it. Gonna follow the "zero-to-1 mile in 6 weeks" plan and go from there. Hard to believe I was an "A" swimmer circa 1983. :D Wish me luck....

    :wave: So for those of you who started the 0-1 mile, how's it going? I'm looking forward to getting started next week - my lap counter came, so I can actually keep track of my distance now. :p I have unfortunately been sidetracked a little bit. I got sick last week (fever, cough, etc.) and only went to the pool once. I went on Monday this week to get back in the swing but the cough kept me up nearly all night last night so I couldn't go today. Very, VERY frustrating. I'm on week 3 in terms of the schedule but I had to repeat week one since I missed a couple of days. I've decided not to push it too much or else I'll just stay sick.
