Well, it's that time. End of another year spent overweight and out of shape. I'm done with this body. Time to go back into the pool. This time I will stick with it. Gonna follow the "zero-to-1 mile in 6 weeks" plan and go from there. Hard to believe I was an "A" swimmer circa 1983. :D

I hope that all the days I've missed over the years does not shorten my life by a day for each day I missed.
I prefer not to think of it that way. :) I try to think of it as we are alotted a certain amount of time given our lifestyle, and swimming regularly (or any kind of excercise) on average, lengthens it. With my family history of heart disease, it's a no-brainer to be as healthy as possible.
