Back in the pool

Well, it's that time. End of another year spent overweight and out of shape. I'm done with this body. Time to go back into the pool. This time I will stick with it. Gonna follow the "zero-to-1 mile in 6 weeks" plan and go from there. Hard to believe I was an "A" swimmer circa 1983. :D Wish me luck....

I hope that all the days I've missed over the years does not shorten my life by a day for each day I missed. I prefer not to think of it that way. :) I try to think of it as we are alotted a certain amount of time given our lifestyle, and swimming regularly (or any kind of excercise) on average, lengthens it. With my family history of heart disease, it's a no-brainer to be as healthy as possible.
