Well, it's that time. End of another year spent overweight and out of shape. I'm done with this body. Time to go back into the pool. This time I will stick with it. Gonna follow the "zero-to-1 mile in 6 weeks" plan and go from there. Hard to believe I was an "A" swimmer circa 1983. :D

OK, this morning I get to the pool and it's set up for 50 meter lanes. Ugh. This was going to ruin my workout. I haven't swam 50 meter laps in 18 years. I shortened my workout a little bit and I'm still wore out. Turns out that they set it up for 50 meter lanes on Tues/Thurs/Sat. Next week I'm going to a Mon/Wed/Fri schedule, so I should be good. :) But man, that was hard not getting my little 25-yard flip turn mini-breaks. I need some :coffee: .
