Well, it's that time. End of another year spent overweight and out of shape. I'm done with this body. Time to go back into the pool. This time I will stick with it. Gonna follow the "zero-to-1 mile in 6 weeks" plan and go from there. Hard to believe I was an "A" swimmer circa 1983. :D

I also just started up again after 13 years off. Feels great. My main goal is to drop 40-50 lbs. and get back under 200. good thing is I can get to the pool 5-6 time per week for an hour.
I used teh 0-1 mile as a guide and came up with this.
200 warmup
4x100 10-15 breaths
100 ***
4x75 7-10 breaths
100 ***
4x50 5 breaths
100 ***
200 cool down
total 1600
this takes about 45-50 minutes for me to complete
anyway nice to see so many are just starting.
