Well, it's that time. End of another year spent overweight and out of shape. I'm done with this body. Time to go back into the pool. This time I will stick with it. Gonna follow the "zero-to-1 mile in 6 weeks" plan and go from there. Hard to believe I was an "A" swimmer circa 1983. :D

Mind if I join you all? I just checked out the 0 to 1 plan, and I think it looks like something I can handle. Most of the workouts here are a bit tougher than I am ready for, but I've been floundering trying to figure out what to do (I do better when I have a plan).
I just ordered a lap counter so I'll actually be able to track my yardage. If there's one thing I've learned in the last few weeks, it's that in my time off I seem to have lost the ability to keep count of my laps. :p
Donna - are those real flamingos in your avi? :(
