Well, it's that time. End of another year spent overweight and out of shape. I'm done with this body. Time to go back into the pool. This time I will stick with it. Gonna follow the "zero-to-1 mile in 6 weeks" plan and go from there. Hard to believe I was an "A" swimmer circa 1983. :D

Welcome back to the swimming world. Once a class A swimmer, always a class A swimmer whether it be in the journey, the dedication, and/or the results.
Swimming for health, to me, is one of the most important decisions a person can make. I have been swimming for health here on the island for the last 5 years with the exception of a one-mile race held in March. I swim for the physical benefits and the removal of mental stress (yes, sometimes I do have stress down here like: gee: where should I swim today? Blue Channel or Half Moon Bay?:rofl:
