Les- do not challenge Jim. Years ago I ripped the cover away from his identity...'Jim Borkowski' is just a veiled reference to his real name/title. His real name is 'The Bork' and he is a mostly-android machine intelligence sent to the earth's past to tip the scales against the future's Federation and the Starfleet. He is still recovering from his last battles with Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the Starship Enterprise, but when he finally mends he will set out on his ultimate mission: to subvert Earth's evolution into a starfaring civilization (thus weakening the Federation at a critical juncture) by promoting butterfly as a stroke that a rational human being would do (and as the future Federation would ban as a 'Tasteless remnant of barbarism') which would lead to a galactic boycott of Earth. posted by the sesquipedalianist canuck Fortress, ...Pay no attention to the northern sesquipedalianist behind the curtain......he is especially prone to having delusions about crazy plots to destroy the world......he often wakes up at night in a sweaty panic thinking that some super intelligent beings from the future have come to disrupt the temporal equilibrium of our particular parallel reality..... thus causing the world to be swallowed up in a catastrophic temporal vacuum that wipes out the existence of every man, woman and child that has ever lived in our current time line.
