Terry, Eleuthera sounds just heavenly. What a marvelous experience for all who participated. It is things like this that make so many memories for you and your people, as well as island folks. Roatan has something similar but more marine oriented. Anthony's Key Resort in Sandy Bay has the Institute of Marine Sciences located there, and they also provide camps for children and adults from scuba/snorkeling, to swimming with dolphins, marine life classes, horseback riding, and the list goes on. Conservation of reef life is first and foremost because the Hondurans are not privy to the importance of reef life. Typical over-fishing and trash throwing. The others, Cayos Cachinos is 27, Guanaja is 12 but always has high seas and I do get seasick sometimes when swimming. So the distance has to be far unless we swim from maybe Half Moon Bay to West Bay which is only about 3 miles. Thank you for accepting the challenge, I am honored.
