Fabulous sprint sets

Does anyone have some great sprint sets (or entire workouts)? I personally love 50s on 1:30 all out ...

I've seen that before, and tried it once. I have people refer to swimming with cords AND swimming with tethered cords so I was thinking they were two different things ... and trying to figure out how one would swim with cords ... makes more sense now ... I'm aiming for a sub :30 on my 50 fly this year. What did you focus on for your 27.2? I'm trying to focus on breath controll and strong walls ... (ie - start (with good underwater work) and turn (again with good underwater work)) Thanks! Heather, you can do it! You are focusing on all the right areas! I am still working on preventing myself from doing a stinky push off (hardly kicking) off the turn. Actually, the time was a bonus. I was "focused" on this guy I practice with whom I call "Animal." He's an amazing flyer. We always race eachother in lots of 25 sprints and 50s. Technically, when I do breathe, I make sure to try and breathe forward instead of up (causing me to go vertical - very bad!). I tried to really limit breathing on this 50, but when I did, I took either 3 or 4 total breaths that race. I loved doing drill/ swim 50s: 3/3/3 fly and then swim fly with an emphasis on feeling great and fluid in the water. The 3/3/3 should feel wondful and long. My coach was great in reminding me to think about the kick being made up of the upbeat AND downbeat. (I had always only worked the downbeat on the kick and my legs just glided upwards instead of working it! Sheesh!) Now that I think about it, there's a heck of a lot to remember when swimming this short event!! Thanks for reminding me of what I need to do!
