As I was browsing around for articles on tonights Bengals/Ravens game I ran across this article and this quote. www.msnbc.msn.com/.../ "I mean, this isn't a soft sport. We don't play chess. This isn't swimming. This isn't one of those kind of sports. It's football. It takes a man to play this game, and to play this game you have to have passion.'' I had to laugh.

  • That's such a cop out. You don't have to like or agree to a thread to read it. Given 98% of Americans are big tubs of lard, the fact that anyone does something athletic is good enough for me. Hey, Speedo Man, I agree with everything you said, except the "cop out" part. Indeed, I think I'm on record as saying "everyone has a voice on this forum" in response to being quasi-dismissed for having an opinion on another thread. It just sounded like Kirk was bored with the "tediousness" and repetitiveness of this particular thread. When I get bored from reading, I :snore: .
