As I was browsing around for articles on tonights Bengals/Ravens game I ran across this article and this quote.

I had to laugh.
In all my years of swimming I have never been mocked as being unmacho nor have I ever seen it. I don't know where that happens but it sure isn't around here. Most people will generally respect an athete, regardless of sport, except soccer of course.
