A survey on masters swimming experience(s). I've been pretty active in Masters for the last 4 years. 2. I think my first Masters meet was when I was 32 (I'm 44 now) 3. 6 years Age Group, 2 years college 4. I was a"late bloomer". ;) 13 5. 100 free 6. 50 and 100 free and 100 and 200 IM 7. Anything over a 200! Makes me feel like this...:dedhorse: Sprinter to the core!

1 Started Masters 26 years ago. I remember my first meet at the Briarwood Pool in Decatur. THat was before Dynamo opened! I had no goggles and could barely see after the meet! 2) I started when I was 32 years old. Lisa Watson gave my son his first "baby" swimming lesson and encouraged me to try a Masters Meet! 3) I swam age group at a YMCA in New Rochelle for 6 years. I swam 2 years at a junior college, but when I transfered to Denver I quit because I wanted to ski. Love those mountains in Colorado! 4) I started competitive swimming when I was about 11. 5) My best events were 200 fly, 200 ***, 800/1000 and 1650 free. 6) My worst is any backstroke.. However due to a ski injury I can not compete 200 ***, so I am trying to improve my backstroke and skiing!

1. Going on 3 years of masters (this is my 2nd year of competing). 2. I started masters at age 24. 3. Age group swimmer for 6 years, then moved onto collegiate swimmin'. 4. I started swimming when I was 12 years old. 5. 100 Back is my best event. 6. My fave is the 50 Free. 7. I don't like the distance freestyles (200+) - I get too bored!

1. +26 years--joined in 1980. Guess I'm an old-timer! 2. Started USMS at age 28 3. I love to watch the early quick starters fade and then here I come! 7 most hated event--tie 200 fly and 400 IM --both in LC
