George asked whether age group swimmers are being bullied/pressured into swimming by parents, coaches and friends. Are they? I've been an official since a year or so after my children started swimming. I do it not because I want to be on deck with them while they swim but meets in our LSC are always short on officials and was asked by our coach to do it. I've really enjoyed it except for the time when I had to DQ my son.
