It seems a poll is needed. In your opinion and experience, does cross training benefit your swimming performance?

Frank: I think this is a dubious distinction. George may be averaging 2.18 since joining, but I think his October posts were pretty high too. What's his number? And doesn't length count? Mine are pretty short unless I'm on a fin or shoulder rant. Your posts are always the most fact-filled and informative. And SwimmerLisa is catching up to me too. Terry obviously has a classic addiction issue as well. I guess it's better than alcohol, drugs or "cheating" in its various forms. Maybe we should have the Golden Goggles Poster Awards. We could have various categories and everyone could nominate their candidates. Most informative poster Most annoying poster Funniest poster Most clever poster Most controversial poster Most controversial thread starter Most prolific poster Most thoughtful poster (Lindsay is my personal favorite here) Favorite Poster Any other categories? We could start the nomination process now, winnow it down to five candidates per category and then have a poll/vote with awards announced at the end of the year. Any takers? LOL Leslie can suggest this because she could and would win any of those categories! (except the annoying one) If we do this - she can only win 1!!
