It will be a little clumsy just because it's difficult recovering only one arm when both are down at your side, but I think with a little practice it would work well.
The other option I can think of is to initiate the turn onto your stomach during the pull. In this scenario, during that final stroke into the wall, you would pull with just a single arm and rotate your body toward the pulling arm. Your other arm would probably need to be moved down to your side because you aren't allowed a pull after you're on your stomach. That would violate the bit about the pull being part of a "continuous turning action."
