Everyone seems to think that it's important to watch elite swimmers on video or real time. Can people name their favorite DVDs for each stroke? (Watch out KaizenSwimmer or Geek will kill you for product plugging).
I like the Ed Moses breaststroke video. The Michael Phelps butterfly was OK, but I don't breathe every stroke and I'm not a 3 kick flyer. I hated the Tom Jager video on starts/turns that my daughter got as a gift. Unhelpful for an adult or any competent swimmer.
Thanks.

the videos by david marsh are good.
the eddie resse breaststroke video is good too.
Thanks guys.
Lindsay: My daughter is reading Michael Phelps new book. She showed me the part where his coach says Michael uses a 3-beat kick, getting a little extra one in that is barely detectable. Neither of us is advanced enough to try that.
There are a lot of great video clips of elite swimmers that you can download:

The Go Swim folks have great dvds using elite swimmers:
http://goswim.tv/
They also have a lot of drill of the week articles on the site that have video clips.
P.S. I think Michael Phelps swims a two-kick rather than three-kick fly, although that video has a drill with extra kicks.
I have the GoSwim Video with Kaitlin Sandeno and Erik Vendt. It shows them swimming all four strokes and I take a little something from that video everytime I watch it. BuehlerMarlins used to have a website LOADED with elite swimmer videos but I think they finally closed it down when nobody chose to contribute funds for the bandwidth requirements.
