Today at our Masters practice I mentioned that Dennis Baker, who recently aged up into my age group, trains 10K/day. A teammate of mine, a 31 year old woman, remarked, "That's a lot of yardage for someone your age."

    My advice for the grey hair is "shave it off". You will look younger which translates into feeling younger and training harder --- and might take a few tenths off your 50 free. Where is the pride in the grey hair? Is this a concept like "AT least I can feel satisified that I am good for my age" Also, must be annoying to hear all the time _ "wow your in good shape for an old dude." Screw this crutch. I dont care if Im 40 or 50. I dont want high school students beating me until Im at least 65.
