Worlds at Stanfofd - It's not how fast you go but how good you look

I may be growing old, thin and feeble, but it seemed to me that there were a HELL of a lot of really big beefy middle aged dudes swimming at the meet at Stanford. I was sitting in the clerk of course for the 50 and 100 free thinking I weigh about 20-40 lbs less than most of these guys. I'm tellin' yah some of these guys chests were HUGE with big guns to match! I felt like a friggen squirrel in a Rotweiller cage. Saeger and I were glad it wasn't tag team wrestling. We'd of had our arms and legs ripped off.
I'm thinking my standard formula of vitamins, protein powder and motrin may be out of date. After all, the cardinal rule of Masters Swimming.................. It's not how fast you go....... It's how good you look..... :-)

I tell yah, Metello (on the Italian's relay) is a pretty big dude. He's got some mean looking tattoos on his arms as well. I wouldn't want to cross him in a water polo game.
