Today I swam from 5-6 pm. I am the only one doing laps. 5 ladies doing h2o aerobics. The corridor outside the pool area is filled with guys waitng on a raquetball court. It's no wonder why I can't find a swimming partner. Just had to vent a little.

  • I briefly played club racquetball in college. It's an excellent sport for athletic conditioning, requiring many of the elements we don't have in swimming so they compliment each other nicely. However, as hard as it is to find a free lane to swim in, it's 10 times worse for this sport. It was fine in college where we had 16 courts open 12 hours a day but in the real world you are lucky to find half that many in any one city.
