The way to read this is seed 534+ will start at 8:00 a.m. Seeds 523-533 will start at 8:22, etc.
All I did was cut and pasted the psych sheet into Excel, sorted from slow to fast, removed every tenth row (starting at row 5), then just added ten seconds to the slowest swimmer's seed in each heat.
I accept no responsibility for just how bad this estimates the actual event timeline! :)
I personally think you have done an admirable job Kirk and I'd like to thank you for the effort.
If anything, it'll probably run slightly longer due to not being able to get the next heat off in the 10 seconds. At least this way, folks won't show up late.
That's kind of what I figured. I'd rather have the timeline have me show up too early than too late! I would think 10% scratches might be high, too. Same deal there.

Aren't the heats seeded by age group, slowest to fastest?
No, not the 400 and 800 free and 400 IM. They are seeded slowest to fastest regardless of age. These events are also deck seeded to minimize the number of empty lanes.
800 free swimmers are still on the hook to find our own counters, correct? I assume that means we need to find one from the folks authorized to be on deck, i.e. other 800 swimmers or an accredited coach, n'est-ce-pas?
Yes heat sheets will be on line. We would like to get them out at 8PM PDT.
Remember you have to be accredited to get on the deck
There is at time line at www.pacificmasters.org/.../06finatimeline.pdf
We will get it on the 2006FINAMasters site soon.
BTW - the time line for the 800 does not count for the scratches.

Matt, I found this info on the Pacific Masters website. It says the turn officials will be counting for two lanes. Does this mean they will actually be placing the counter in the water? I can only assume so.
