Parking at World's 12.00 a day?

Someone just posted this on the forum From the Stanford parking website: "One-day "Visitor" scratcher permits (which allow parking in Pay & Display lots and at meters), available for $12 each at the P&TS office (open weekdays 7:30 a.m. -5 p.m.)." So, unless the LOC has made special arrangements you can plan on $12/day for parking, and hope that space is available once you pay for the parking pass. You've got to be kidding me..... If it's 12.00 dollars a day that is so unfair..... I don't think I'll be able to afford going to the pool except on competition days. I think my motel is 2 miles away..... Looks like I'm walking....... I love getting taken advantage of. - Note: I remember now.... Orginally I had called the college and was told it was free...... I'm going back to my notes.... This is so unacceptable........

  • I was thinking about what I have paid for parking for age group meets. In Chicago at UIUC it is a 5.00 event fee parking for all day. Except Friday, which you pay the per hour rate if you get there too early. In Indy at UIPUI, it is 4.00 event parking. Both these cities are big cities, cost a lot to stay at, and the parking is a whole lot cheaper than 12.00.
