Someone just posted this on the forum
From the Stanford parking website:
"One-day "Visitor" scratcher permits (which allow parking in Pay & Display lots and at meters), available for $12 each at the P&TS office (open weekdays 7:30 a.m. -5 p.m.)."
So, unless the LOC has made special arrangements you can plan on $12/day for parking, and hope that space is available once you pay for the parking pass.
You've got to be kidding me..... If it's 12.00 dollars a day that is so unfair..... I don't think I'll be able to afford going to the pool except on competition days. I think my motel is 2 miles away..... Looks like I'm walking.......
I love getting taken advantage of.
- Note: I remember now.... Orginally I had called the college and was told it was free...... I'm going back to my notes.... This is so unacceptable........
I'm confused. If you go to the Stanford Avery Aquatics Center page, it says:
Parking
Public Parking (Free)
Parking is located in the Varsity Parking Lot. It can be accessed via Nelson Road, off of Galvez Street, north of Stanford Stadium. Marked disabled spaces are located in the southwest and southeast corners of the lot. A Disabled Placard (from any state) will be necessary to access the disabled parking lot.
