Today after the usual useless workout I have learned that most likely my team won't participate in an LCM meet in May because there is a stupid OW race on the same day. We train for the pool and then we don't go to meets for what? For an OW race? Are you kidding me?
No seriously, we have the chance to try the races that we'll do at bigger meets later in the season, LCM meets are PURE GOLD but no, hey, let's go to the beach.
Is there some reason you can't go to the meet even if the team doesn't?
