As a new swimmer who is very, very slow, I am really annoyed when a much faster swimmer insists on swimming in the "easy" lane. I end up having to cut my rests short and feeling rushed or or else waiting for him to finish his lap and do his flip turn so I don't feel rushed... over and over again. And sometimes when I wait, he ends up turning before he even gets to the wall, meaning I basically waited for no reason.
