OK - Spending $400+ on a non-refundable heart rate monitor marked as water resistant to 50m.
When it arrives, the user manual says the chest strap transmitter won't actually transmit in the pool due to pool chemicals and being underwater; and to NOT to push any buttons on the wristwatch computer unit because it will flood and ruin it.
I have other issues with this model; but I'll stick to the swim aspects of this device marketed towards triathletes.
