We old people need our sleep. It's not like I can go home and go right to bed. It takes me an hour to settle down. There. I feel better now (not really).
Good ol' "Gold Medal" Reed here has a point. Our practices are late and starting late really does us no favors. Especially when some of us are up at 4:30 every morning. I've taken to meditation, using slow music in the car on the ride home, and the occasional glass of wine to help chill the nerves from my swim. This is just so I can try to pass out before 10:15.
No dice. Last night I was wired til midnight.
