I don't like how kids these days wear those surf shirts or rash guards at the pool. I think the point is not to get sun burned but why not just wear sunscreen? I don't get it, it's a pool not ocean.
Sunscreen comes off quickly in water (if you can even find one that doesn't have a known carcinogen in its ingredients). For those susceptible to skin cancer, rash guards are a very smart move. And for me in SoCal with extensive tattoo work, it's a must.
Believe me, it's no fun. It's hot and they drag worse than a drag suit.
