My mom hates it. It's just too dull for her. Their old neighborhood was very young with lots of kids in the neighborhood. Their new one doesn't allow kids and it's dead quiet. When you walk around you hardly even see anyone outside.
Tell her to try one of the newer Sun City developments
(by Del Webb)! There is a lot going on at Sun City Peachtree, here in Georgia! (This coming from a native Californian who spent most of her life in San Diego...)
NO, there isn't much in the way of children running around (except during their pool visiting hours at the outdoor pool during the summer), but it definitely is NOT dull!
My husband and I used to live in a community with a lot of children, but we weren't much appreciated by anybody there, because we didn't have kids to offer up for "play dates". Ugggh! I tried to start an adult social group there, but it was ALL about the kids...
Now I'm playing with kids my own age! :D Tonight is
"Club O'Peachtree", pub night to celebrate St. Paddy's Day. It sure beats "Winter Wonderland", the kiddie party at our old neighborhood... (There were never parties for adults.)
We don't have kids, so in my opinion, this is THE place to be! Besides, I have my own lane in our indoor swimming pool! :D
