You must not have activated the pad and that definitely sucks. I had that happen once in the 200 BR at the Metro Conference semis in 1981. My coach had me at 2:10.0, but the pad had me at 2:13.3 , iirc.
Did they tell you what the back-up time was? If so, you should be able to get Ed to send an adjusted time in to the USMS folks (I think there is some sort of formula they use.) You should probably check the USMS rulebook, however, as I'm not sure on this procedure.
it is now posted on dixiezone.org. and from what i can tell none of the times have been changed. i accept that yes, i was still tired from ynats and was swimming hurt(slap tear and superspinatus injury) but. i know what i saw and the backup timer saw. glider, it was on the 50 free.:rant3:
