Triathlons
I think triathlons should be equally balanced by time,
in the Austin Triathlon
you'll notice Brandon Marsh spent
19:25 on the swim,
59:18 on the bike,
34:45 on the run
the distances in the swim bike and run should be set so elite triathletes spend around the SAME amount of time on each one.
round up brandon's times (exclude transitions)
here's how much time he spent on each discipline
20 / 60 / 35
he spent ___ of his race time on ____
17.4% of time on swim
52.2% of time on bike
30.4% of time on run
So the bike distance should be shortened,
the run should be slightly lengthened and
the swim should be significantly lengthened to equalize each event.
it's obvious triathlons have a thinly veiled conspiracy lead by cyclists.
End the injustice, shorten the bike courses and lengthen the swims.
Also what's with allowing neoprene wetsuits,
those things float like corks
Poor swimmers must gain 4 - 6 seconds a 100
