re: tech suits at summer league meets
... I was/am not a fan. Almost all the boys wear them now. I remember my mom begging for suits with more coverage when I was younger, but these Jammers are just covering more skin - they're still "form-revealing." Oh well.
At the meet this weekend, I used my old FS1 for my 400free, and my nearly-seethru-aquablade speedo the rest. I actually felt better with the speedo than the FS1. Come to think of it, I've had 4 PBs this summer wearing a brief-style suit (800, 1500, 100br 400im).
