June 22 1957 my wife and I were married and she has put up with me now for 49 years. She even goes to the pool with me. She was and is a great swimming instructor. She even counts for me when I do laps. Chuckie is her nick name, Mary Charlotte her real name. I met her when she was 15 and I was 20 but she was too young for me to even think about a date. Met her again when she was 19, she invited me to a sorarity ball. I told her I can't dance but she did not believe me. She found out at the sorarity ball that I could not dance as I spent all of my time at the pool.
Now 49 years later six kids all grown up and quite a few grandchildren. We are still in love.

Even the tiny bit of your story you've told is wonderful. I am the sixth of six children. After twenty years of marriage, my parents divorced. I've always wondered how peole "put up with" eachother for long periods of time?
