The meet information says that we have to check in the day before for the longer events. I am signed up for the 400 IM, but I don't know if I will be able to arrive early enough the day before to make check-in. I coach a kids' team and their championship meet ends the day before around noon. I was planning to drive up from San Diego after that. Is there any option available for someone like me?
I have that same problem with arriving for the 800, I wont be in Palo Alto untill the morning of the swim. I sent an email to M. Moore and he replied with the following;
We plan to have on-line confirmation so you confirm on line. Be sure
to check the web site for exact details.
I took that to mean I can check in online.
CHECK IN THE DISTANCE EVENTS
The 400m and 800m freestyle and the 400 Individual Medley will be deck seeded. Swimmers will be able to check in both at the swim meet and swimmers will be able check in online the day before event and two days before the event. Deck seeded will close at 18.00 Hrs (6PM) the day before the meet.
