Hey I’ve heard of people swimming in champagne, but believe it or not, here’s a really bizarre site about a pool filled with beer:

Looks like more of a Jacuzzi for just soaking rather than swimming, however it’s a fascinating idea anyway.
If any of the bathers get pulled over by the highway patrol while driving home, I wonder if the cops will buy the explanation that they had just gone swimming in a beer pool and were not drinking it!!!

Very timely discussion. This week's LIFE magazine shows an outdoor spa in Hakone, Japan with a red wine bath and several bathers. The spa has a massive wine bottle "winefall" feature. You can also pick your favorite other beverage - green tea, coffee, sake.
Not sure if there is a white wine bath also (chilled, I presume), or one with bubbles.
I showed the beer pool picture to a co-worker and his response was "Finally - a good use for Coors Light".
