There are just three days left to register for the XI FINA World Masters Championships. So far competitors from over 70 countries have registered for the biennial event.
Swimmers can register on line at
www.usms.org/.../
One can still down load the meetbook at
www.2006finamasters.org/
and enter by mail.
We hope that all Masters swimmers who make the qualifying time consider competing at the championships.
The FINA World Masters Championship is the largest swimming event sanctioned by the aquatic body. This is the only FINA championship being held in the United States this year.
Hope to see you all there

Tim,
Just a reminder: for USMS Nationals, the NQTs determine whether you can swim a 4th, 5th or 6th event. Everyone gets up to three for free.
At Masters Worlds you are not supposed to be swimming any event if you don't have a QT.
World cuts may seem "slower" but that is because they apply to each and every event. Not so at USMS Nationals.
Also keep in mind that much as we all would like fewer heats and less waiting around, the meet organizers need enough athletes to defray the costs of the meet. Make QTs too strict (assuming you hold your costs constant in anticipation of a big crowd), and the meet takes a bath financially.
