OK,
All of you who read and post often enough to know most of the in jokes. Who's going to Stanford this August? I'll be competing on Fri and Sun, Aug 4th & 6th. I expect the Tall One will be in town, and he's easy to spot in a crowd. Who else will be there? Anyone want to get together to share a libation and libelously inaccurate swimming stories?

Good new/bad news.
Bad news is that I swim my last event on Sunday, and will be flying home Monday. So, I won't be organizing anything. (Of course, that could be good news, depending on your point of view...)
Good news is, hey, feel free to organize anything you like for Monday. L'Etat c'est vous. (Of course, that could be bad news...)
As far as Sunday is concerned, if you, or the other irrascible, argumentitive denizens of this virtual deep are interested, Tall Paul and I will be grabbing a chilled, malted beverage after the 50 fly. If anyone else is interested, speak up, or simply look for Paul in the last heat of the 45-49 50 fly (he's seeded #1, so between that and his vertical enhancements, he'll be hard to miss. Put the two of us in the same room, and think Arnold Schwartznegger and Danny Devito in the movie Twins, 'cept Paul is taller than the Govenator.)
