I'm 18 and thinking about entering some masters meets this summer.
How do I sign up to become a masters member. I'm not on a team, I'm just going to be unattached. I live in VA, so does that mean I have to sign up for the colonial zone, or is it just national? And when I do become a memeber, can I do meets outside of my zone?
The first meet I plan on doing is the Terripan Cup on july, 8th. So how soon do I need to register for membership?

I seem to remember from a couple of years ago some discussion about whether to accept people who were 18 yrs old as USMS members. Obviously, the view that we should accept them prevailed. However, I also remember some discussion about whether the youngest age group would be changed from 19-24 to 18-24. Many pages on this and other web sites indicate it is still 19-24. Thus my question for the USMS organizationistas out there, will Warren be allowed to compete in a USMS meet before he turns 19?
I, for one, would enthusiastically vote yes he should. However, the point is not what I like, but what our rules currently allow, and if we don't like them, how and how fast can we change them.
