Worlds Online Meet Entry

The XI FINA World Masters Championships on-line Meet entry system is now available. You can now enter online at http://www.2006finamasters.org If you are one of the first 1000 entrants, you will receive a FINA Logo'd blue nylon bag (the bag also has the meet's seal logos on it) when you are accredited at the meet. Over 250 have registered already, so register now. You can register now, and until 3 June, you can go back on line and change your meet entry time. For each team that registers 20 swimmers, their coach will receive a championships coaches polo shirt. This cool shirt will identify you as a coach for a team that is competing at the World Championships. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we hope that you will participate at the first World Championships that is being held in the western hemisphere in ten years. And we look forward to seeing you at the Stanford Avery Aquatic Center in August. michael Michael W. Moore, president XI FINA World Masters Championships Organizing Committee

  • Just got done entering. I'm assuming even if entering online we're still required to send in our photos, proof of age, and copy of USMS card. Is this correct Michael? This isn't made real clear in the online process (unless I missed it somewhere) though it is noted in the "Entry Procedures" page of the meet booklet. EDIT: OK, answering my own question here. Just saw this on the website: "We have made a couple of changes in the registration process, you do NOT have to send two photos with your registration, if you a USMS member, your membership will be checked when you register. When you go to accredition, you must bring a government issued ID (eg California Drivers license), your picture will then be taken and your meet ID will be generated." In other words it sounds like (for USMS swimmers, anyway) we don't need to send anything additional in. Cool!
