I am retired and teach swimming on the side. I met a man in Mexico who was a carpenter he asked what I did for a living, I told him I sell my body. He looked at me and said you don't make very much money do you?

Hi Everyone - I’m in the science and engineering field. In other words, another “Techno Geek”. However, I really love swimming, water polo, and diving. Meeting people who are into athletics has provided me (and them) with an opportunity for both of us to get an insight on the different worlds we work and play in. And socializing with people with an athletic lifestyle pleasantly removes the monotony from my work as well. After my work out, my swimming trainer and I exchange in lively conversations about what’s going on in life. It’s kinda fun for me to hear about what’s going on in the athletic field and he’s quite fascinated to learn about the research and development in the elevator business. Cheers and Happy Swimming! I get to study meteorites (staff scientist at Caltech) and register swimmers (for Southern Pacific Masters). They balance nicely, one has very little interaction with people, the other has lots.

Retired from an actual job at 71 years of age. Still teaching swimming at 72 and will be 73 in 4 days. My wife wants me to apply with her for another full time job with her, a government contract in the child care field. The pay is good but I want to be travelling. The last job we had was 1 month on and one month off we hired staff to replace us. It gave us lots of time to travel. The new contract would require our full time attendance. I think we will remain semi retired.
