I am planning a half ironman tri this summer and am looking for clean water sites to do some training swims in. preferably 15-20 miles from londonderry nh (so i can bike there and back).
any suggestions?

I don't know where Londonberry is but from my recollections in NH:
In White Mtns area, Lake Chocorua (sp?) was pretty nice. White Lake OK outside of normal hours. Echo Lake (western one) seemed popular with tri types, also outside normal hours.
Some of the lakes in the "Lakes Region" seemed to have small "residents only" beaches but if you would come by bike, they'd be OK. Most of them would be OK to swim from but in many areas you'd be at some risk from motorboats.
