  • Arizona won the 200 medley relay, in US Open record time -- 1:23.88. That's faster than Longhorn -- Piersol, Hansen, Crocker and Walker -- went a month ago in Austin. Spilts: Subirats, Albert 21.47 Rollins, Dave 23.33 Ferns, Lyndon 20.22 Burnett, Simon 18.86 Amazing. And, Stanford was disqualified for "Downward butterfly kick - ***." I kind of have to laugh at that, because when I swam in college, the Stanford Cardinal was known for dolphin kicks. So ... did the guy do more than one kick per turn? I think so. Finally, Stanford's dolphin kicks finally get noticed by judges.
