  • Lochte is on fire, but I'm still most impressed by Vanderkaay breaking the 500 record. Out in 2:02 at the 250!! I might be repeating myself, but averaging faster than 50 seconds per hundred for 500 yards is simply amazing. It looks like he had just enough left in the tank to pull it off. Imagine how disappointing it would have been if he missed the mark by 0.1 seconds.
