  • Peter Vanderkaay got the last record that Tom Dolan had when he won 3 events at the 1995 NCAA Meet in Indy. He joins Michael Phelps and Chris Thompson, teamates that he works out with every day at Club Wolverine as the ones who broke the other American and NCAA records from 1995. This sets up some interesting possibilities in his other events. He won again very easily by over 4 seconds. Ryan Lochte was very impressive in breaking the less that month old record of Michael Phelps with 1:40.55 dropping about 1.2 seconds from his best. Now the 1:40 barrier is in sight and we could see the 200 IM go under like the recent 200 Fly and the 200 Back a couple of years ago.
