I write a monthly column in Swimming World called "Survive & Thrive" celebrating swimmers recovering from serious setbacks.
I'm looking for new Masters swimmers to profile.
We highlight people of all abilities and ages, from Olympians to recreational athletes of any age.
They've experienced traumas such as cancer, paralysis, chronic fatigue, amputation, balance loss, and strange diseases. Even grief.
The common theme is that they absorbed an unexpected challenge and with grit and determination turned it positive.
